You activate the emergency alarm by simply pulling the pin. The alarm is 100-110 decibels & can be heard up to 175-225' depending on surrounding conditions. Light has a beam distance of 19M, is impact resistant up to 3M & has a brightness of 3 lumens. 1.5" W x 3" H
